Paper
Your map is printed onto 29lb paper (110gsm) and is left unfinished. Delivered rolled in a tube
Paper with front sheet lamination
Your wall map will be finished with a front sheet lamination process. Front sheet lamination gives the map a write-on/wipe off-finish, so anything you write on it with a dry erase marker can be wiped off using a suitable cleaner. Delivered rolled in a tube.
Silk art paper (170gsm)
Our Silk Art paper has a superior color reproduction finish and provides high photo quality. The 65lb (170gsm) silk paper is coated in a smooth silk material, combining strength and durability. Delivered rolled in a tube.
Laminated
Your wall map will be finished with a double sided lamination process known as encapsulation. Encapsulation means the print is heat-sealed between two sheets of industrial quality plastic film. Please note that the edges of this print are not sealed. Laminated gives the map a write-on/wipe off-finish, so anything you write on it with a dry erase marker can be wiped off using a suitable cleaner. Delivered rolled in a tube.
Pinboard mounted
Our pinboard mounted maps are designed to be rigid and attractive with the added bonus that they can be pinned with thumbtacks. This map comes mounted on Gator Board foam board. It's easy to hang your map using the mount attached to the back of this board.

Laminated with wooden hanging bars
You map comes with real wood hanging bars that give it a vintage or classroom style. The handmade wooden hanging system is made from four molded strips of American walnut-colored wood. The wooden bars are screwed together to clamp down on the top and bottom of the print. We also supply two sawtooth hangers for attaching the print to the wall.
Wood frames
Hang your map in style with this quality black wooden frame. The frame is made from wood composite, and the print is protected with plexiglass. The wooden frames are approximately 3/4” wide and 1/2” deep.
Pinboard with wood frame - this map is mounted on Gator Board foam board, then placed in a black or white wooden frame. The frame is made from wood composite and is approximately 3/4” wide and 1/2” deep. If you choose this option the frame does not come with plexiglass to allow thumbtacks to be used with the pinboard.
Laminated, pinboard mounted with wood frame - this map is laminated, mounted on Gator Board foam board, then placed in a black or white wooden frame. Ready to be hung on the wall, all framed maps will be supplied with a hanging kit.
Standard Personalization
Standard Personalisation
You can choose a title and subtitle for maps with standard personalization. Personalized maps are available in many finishes including pinboard, canvas and framed.
Preview your title and sub title - with our standard personalization you are able to see a preview of the title and subtitle you choose on the product page.
Choose border and font colours- choose any colour border for your map and choose either black and white font for your personalization text.
Add pins and tags -optional pins and tags allow you to further personalize your map, for example pinpoint and tag places visited, would like to visit, places you've lived etc. Please note pins and tags are best used when selecting the canvas, pinboard or pinborad with wood frame finish.
Lovingly Personalized
We have selected a range of popular maps which have some extra personalization. These bespoke designs can differ in terms of the mapping used and feature additional personalization such as fonts and markers to pinpoint locations.
